Bells are ringing, the lights are lighting, everyone is busy making preparations for the Noche Buena, indeed Christmas is in the air!
To all my colleagues, family, friends, folks and crushes, a merry Christmas to everyone! I am not writing this to ask gifts (but I know those who owe me one!), this is plainly a simple message for this yuletide season.
According to the most common belief, Christmas is celebrating Christ's birth (duh, that's why its called CHRISTmas), the Lord and Savior of all Christians including me but let me take this beyond borders. As we celebrate His birth, this event also symbolizes the peace and joy that comes with it. Christmas is also a moment for forgiveness and giving (same thing with God as He forgives the sinners and gave His only begotten son to save them). You see, Christmas is not just about the food and gifts, its more than what we can afford with our pockets, the real issue is why we truly celebrate this holiday season.
So this Christmas season, let's make a big difference! Let us always remember the REAL reason for this season, more than what Santa Claus can bring and place in our stockings, let us always put in mind the sacrifice God had done for the betterment of humanity.
