Zamboanga City Standoff

Declare war now and annihilate the rebels before this crisis gets worse. This will be my word to PNoy.

I do not know if the government is blind but this case is now becoming more complicated and the current administration should better do something now or they will regret the results later. Last night, I stare in despair as I learned that Zamboanga City was under attack by the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF). At first, I thought it was a simple act of terrorism but later this morning I realized I was wrong, they had the whole Zamboanga City shut down.

JLN and PDAF

I was surfing through the net some time ago when I suddenly came across the news about Janet Lim Napoles. At first, I was hesitant to give my view, the case was just starting, there was even no warrant of arrest for her that time so even though I have this feeling that this is another big political scandal, I decided to give her a chance to prove her innocence. But then I was shocked by how the events suddenly slowly evolved and to make the long story short, now, the government is looking for this very infamous woman who is being charged with corruption and tax evasion.

The Kurobas Fever

A few months ago, way back when I was in high school, I got a chance to watch this anime with the help of my friend, Yustin. Well, I wasn't really exactly sure why I was watching it but for some reason, I was just simply letting time past. So, fast forward to present, I happen to have another chance of watching it again but this time from the start and guess what, I instantly became one of the thousands of people infected with this Kurobas fever.

A Taste of Collge

I would really like to apologize for another late post. I have been really quite doing a lot of stuff around plus the fact that we do not have an internet connection for the rest of the month and counting. But I will really try my best to post every Wednesday. Cheerios!

So, who says real life starts after school? Baka! Although the reasoning is quite correct, I believe real challenges start at college (although, real life challenges really starts when we are born. -_-). So, now that I finally made it to a new phase of my life, I guess the real battle for self development has only began.

Halalan 2013: Reactions and Impressions

It took me quite a time to finish this up, first I have to wait until the proclamation of all election winners is done and I also have to read a lot of news to hear both sides of the story about the Philippines latest midterm election. Even though this is a very opinionated article, I am also keen enough to see each corner.

Initao: A Hidden Paradise

Truly, the Philippines is a beautiful country. Just last Wednesday (May 1), I was given a special opportunity to attend a family gethering of ushers of VCF (Victory Christian Fellowship). It was really such a well-planned activity not to mention that the activity was done on a holiday to accodomate the people's hectic schedules. But what really amazes me aside from the wide variety of food is the venue.

A Walk to Remember

This post is very late but I think it has always been better to be late than absent. Photos are credited to my friend, Armarie Gasalatan and other respective owners.

Last February, I took my chance of going beyond my borders. I had my first experience in the Zamboanga Peninsula in Pagadian City. Although I have been planing for this trip in more or less three-fourths of my high school life, it finally came to a reality. So after the draining three hours of travel from Iligan City, I finally arrived and was able to catch the glimpse of the city's beautiful highway lights.

A Touch of Love

I almost forgot that it was Valentine’s Day but thanks to google.com and its beautiful doodle on its website, I was quickly reminded, oh it’s February 14. Coincidentally, my teacher went inside the library giving out love cards. Just at that moment, I turned pale; did my crush receive the letter I gave earlier?

A New Generation of Correspondents

Again, it is that time of the year where almost 2,500 campus journalists converge in one location to battle for the glory of representing Region X in the national level. It is time for the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) and this time, it was held in La Salle University, Ozamiz City on January 24-26, 2013.

Just An Extraordinary Chemistry Class

Chemistry is just one of the most boring and hardest subjects (I mean that is my opinion ok, so deal with it!). Even though my mother is a chemist, somehow her aura does not seem to have gotten into me and I believe that there also a handful of people there who also feel indifferent with Chemistry. Anyway before proceeding, let me emphasize that its not about the teacher who is boring but rather the subject itself.

Insights About Cosplays

AWESOME!

One word that I could totally say about cosplays. I mean, after having my first glimpse of what a cosplay is all about a while ago, thanks to my best friend Ian, I could not believe that I am suddenly making final changes to add Cosplay in SW. I mean, I was totally starstruck. They may not be professionals but who the hell cares, after all, they all look totally amazing.

A Lesson I Got from Stalking

They say the more of this and that (things that we like), the more happy we will be. I keep remembering way back then that I keep on hoping to have more money so that I will be more happy but now that I am now a teenager, I am just more of a bottomless pit. Asking and asking for more money but does not really achieve any contentment at all.
